“Sigh. We single people are lone warriors.” ~ Sofia Khan is not Obliged
O my actual God, you know how sometimes you’re watching a movie or tv show and feel like that character is living your life? and you see so much in common with them?
This is what Sofia Khan made me feel like. Obviously, its fiction and not based on MY actual life but my goodness the similarities were uncanny.
The writer had such a strong hold on the story. Not many authors are able to get your full attention. Everything from tiny details of house, food, fragrances to bigger issues like the society, culture, traditions, marriage etc, were on point!
I don’t want to give spoilers but I have to say that the story was totally unpredictable. I absolutely loved how it was so reality based. The ending especially was so surprising.
I would definitely recommend it.
Cannot wait to get my hands on the sequel, “The other half of happiness”.
